In order to change the perceptions of consumers about the diversity and quality of Brazilian food products and promote Brazilian brands in the Middle East, APEX Brasil, supported by various food producers associations, have asked the IFP group to create for them an event that will showcase the best Brasil has to offer and organize a matchmaking session for importers from the region to meet with the Brasilian companies and learn more about their brands and products.

Results:
● 720 meetings with 39 exhibitors were managed and arranged on February 22nd, 2009.
● 900 visitors have visited 39 exhibitors.
● 400 trade visitors visited the exhibition on February 22nd, 2009.
● 150 attendees attended the presentation on February 21st, 2009.
● 250 gustes attended the Brazilian dinner on February 21st, 2009.
● 42.8 million dollars is the total business deals of 19 exhibitors (According to their questionnaire form)
● 20 exhibitors did not state the amount of deals.
● Visitors have came from the following countries: Kuwait, Oman, KSA, Bahrain, Qatar, Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Malaysia, Madagascar, Sudan and Syria. |
